This Division is responsible for conducting prosecutions; rendering quality legal advice; preparing and reviewing contracts and handling litigation matters; anti-money laundering work with the Central Bank of Malaysia and participating in outreach programmes.

The Division comprises of three sections with the following core functions:

1. Prosecution Section  - registers cases in Court for offences committed under the CA 1965 and ROBA 1956; and prosecutes cases in the interest of SSM.

2. Litigation Section - attends to civil suits, hearings and appeal matters in relation to cases initiated by or against SSM; conducts research and studies on matters which involve legislative issues for the purpose of handling cases, primarily to determine the authority and provisions of the relevant laws; and prepares affidavits, appeals, written submissions and other document to be filed in Court.
